Hindu saint Sri Ramakrishna said
"The substance is One under different names, and every one is seeking the same substance.Let each man follow his own path.If he sincerely and ardently wishes to know God, peace be unto him!"
This is what a scientist, a philosopher and all other self made individuals are doing: to find the truth.
