Belief

Belief leads to your faith in God.

But atheists deny that since they have a belief as "Only which is seen or felt can be confirmed'.

Electricity passes through the wires and cables but invisible. But still they believe without seeing them: because they will get shocked if to hold a live wire.

These non-believers of God come to realize the existence of the Almighty when they face shortcomings or big jolts in life or when death approaches them.

I know many politcians who preach atheism but secretly pray to God.

Clueless

Which came first: Egg or Chick? 

A puzzle for a long time that remains clueless.

On the same footing, these questions arise.

Tree comes from Seed or tree produces seed?

" Who am I " , "Where we come from during birth" , "To  where we go after death", " Why so much variation among us by way of color or size or shape", etc...

Then the answer is definitely .......GOD.

UnAnswered

Our life is like this blank space above : we do not know why it's there empty unless we fill something  there.

Life becomes null and void if we don't take efforts to make it meaningful.

So do something when you are healthy and awake. It can be as Working in a factory, Teaching in a school or doing Driver job, etc...

Lies

For doing good things like protecting an honest person or helping a hard worker, you can speak lies.

Even to promote a good cause, you write lies.

Then how can you cultivate the good habits if you don't encourage them.

Poetry is actually a work of lies.

Similarly most of the fables and folk songs are born of bluff only.

Why this yellow metal always glitters: not only in shine but also in price.

What is so special about this? People go crazy for this metal .

This is the universal phenomenon that unites everybody irrespective of creed, caste or religion or region, poor or rich, literate or otherwise.

We can call Gold as the Metal of Integrity and Integration.

People nowadays enjoy the company of animals not only in their home but during outing also.

Statues

India is a country with lot of statues of political leaders in each nook and corner of the place.

And AndhraPradesh leads with most number of statues followed by Tamilnadu.

Some leaders go to the extent of opening their own statues: might be they are afraid that after their period, people would forget them.

Another major problem is the hardships to the general public by way of traffic diversion and jam when the followers or new leaders remember these statues by garlanding on birth and death days.

Today I had experienced this problem in Chennai when the Chief Minister happened to pay homage to an old stalwart. The statues is situated in an important and arterial road junction.

The entire city traffic, that too peak and office hour, came to a halt for about one hour.
This happened in the hot summer. 

So called leaders  never mind the inconvenience to the public who voted them to power.

Time

My definition for TIME is Tricky Iirreversible Moment Ever :Because time is elusive,faster and never retractable.

We can buy anything but not Time.Such is the value of time.So Time is precious and invaluable.

The significance of Time is realized by many people only after they suffer from it.

Any action that is not done in the right time is bound to have unfavorable or even adverse impact.

Scheduling various works  based on your  priority  is the vital aspect of planning for a stress-free and happy life.Such scheduled format is called as Time Table.Can you imaging what will be the consequences if Railways or Airways don't draw schedules for the arrival and departures?.

Remember: Everybody has only 24 hours of time in a day: even the great scholars, scientists, leaders.

A study has revealed that too much texting can make teens shallow.

Smart and Short

In 1930, economist John Maynard Keynes  had  postulated that the world would replace work with leisure by  2030. Which meant people would work shifts that last 3 hours and working week would span  15 hours.

His theory seem to be not far away...as Labour leaders are advocating " work smart and short. So to increase jobs"

Grammar

In 1962, NASA lost about $80 million due to the grammar error.

A single missing  hyphen in the coding used to set trajectory and speed caused the craft Mariner 1(America's first interplanetary probe) to explode  minutes after take off.

Arthur C Clarke called it " the most expensive hyphen in history".

Who knows ....there might be several other and still costlier mistakes of such grammatical nature. 

So let us minimise the mistakes of any sort....to save from loss.

Green Bank

That's the name of a small town in hilly West Virginia,USA where most types of electromagnetic radiation such as radio and tv broadcasts,WiFi networks, cell signals and Bluetooth are banned to minimise disturbance around the National Radio Astronomy Observatory which houses the world's largest steerable radio telescope.

Motion

When an object remains still,  calmness prevails.
But when it sets into motion or action, sound is created .

Only in steady motion or stillness, constuctive activity occurs.

Honeybees stop buzzing when they are busy with honey collection.

A flight of bird or aircraft becomes faster when they move at steady pace.

So, if you have undulating behaviour instead of steady and balanced approach ,towards anything, you tend to feel exhausted .

Turbulence

A study has found that by the year2050, climatic change will affect aviation by increasing air turbulence and causing flights to get bumpier.

As a result, we will be seeing the "fasten seat belts" turned on more often in the decades ahead. Such turbulence causes delays and damages to the aircraft and the passengers.

Social medium

This has both advantages and minuses.

Good effect. One farmer in India could get the help and money pouring in from many parts of the world for treatment of his son's heart problem. This is with the help of Facebook post.

Bad effect. Many people have become rather addict to these media which have resulted in poor marks in exams, late night sitting, divorce of couple,etc..

So use the social media for betterment of self and others: but at the cost of personal life.

Gain

A chick within a egg has limited space and freedom.
But when emerges out from the egg, it stands to possess the entire world as own.

Likewise a person gets to enjoy the whole world if he comes out of his possessive character.

Reap the benefits of sharing rather than staying within your circle.

Stability

Sea water never gets reduced : whether taken away by clouds or filled by rivers.

Likewise universe remains same whether one galaxy crashes or new ones are filled either by man made ( satellites, sky lab, station,etc..) or natural.

Similarly, our innate being( soul or atma ) remains unchanged despite the numerous and enormous troubles and feelings are experienced by it.

So, it's great that the Self is always there.

Preparedness

A ship, which is not well prepared, gets destructed together with its cargo and people on it.
But when the same ship is well built and prepared, then it does not break up and also the goods and people get to reach the shore.

Loudness

Proverb says" Empty vessels make noise ".

Half knowledge is always very loud but not necessarily clear.

Half knowledge always waits to give free advice. Take it and you become it's victim.

Learned people are humble and never grumble.

Dutybound

Sniffer dogs spend a night with king cobra in airport kennel.

These dogs are duty bound to sniff out the narcotics, but obviously don't have idea of how to sniff out the reptile in their kennel. However, the canines were barking through night to alert the lousy human guards.

Thoughts

You become what you think.

Good thoughts make you a positive and radiating person.

When you possess bad thoughts all the time, you tend to become ill minded with bad character.

It's easy for a good person to change as bad but highly difficult for a bad person to become a good one.

Sham acts

Each one of us put up  some kind of sham behavior when we confront certain tense or embarrassing situations.

When a person spots a lender at a distance, he will turn away from that person. 

When somebody attacks with delicate and unanswerable questions, the listener will pretend as if not heard what the other fellow said.

But the same person will become livewire when somebody gives similar reactions to him.

Strange and Tricky is human beings.

Global warming

Global warming is man made due to the greediness of human beings claiming to
have the six sense.

Even now it's not too late, we can reverse the process by reverting to the good old methods that conserve and sustain the ecological balance.

Class

Class can also play a role.

A study shows that upper-income class tends to have less empathy than those from lower-income people, and so are willing to sacrifice individuals
for the greater good.

This shows the inconsistent ethical standards of the society.

BP

About 17% of school children in Chennai city, India  have hypertension. Such
blood pressure is caused by genetic diseases or kidney/heart diseases. But teenagers develop high BP due to poor diet and lack of exercise.

Solitude

Remaining lonely is a difficult affair for many persons.

But in solitude alone, a person will get to reflect and remember the truth " I am not alone but a tiny dot in the infinite universe. I should not have pride or prejudice in anything."

Mirror

The mirror reflects whatever comes in front of it : good or bad.

Unbiased nature of mirror.

A person must possess such character of the mirror. So that, nothing needs to be retained within to form a burden. This is the actual virtue of a child that displays innocence or go(o)dness to the core.

Humbleness

Water naturally flows to the low lying area.

Even a branch bends itself when a fruit is borne on it.

Likewise, rewards and glory accrue to a humble person.

Mahatma Gandhi never had faith in God or Hinduism. But he learned to be tolerant towards other religions. "Well, Sir, you believe in the existence of God?" asked the atheist.

"Indeed" replied the clergyman.

"Pray tell me then, the size of your god and where he may be?" again quipped the atheist.

"Well, if we but knew. He resides in the hearts of us both" replied with a gentle voice.

"Now, don't take me to be a child" said the atheist with a triumphant look.

But the clergyman took to a humble silence.

Find out the immediate, intimate instead of trying to find out what is distant and unknown.

         

The work performed with attachment is a shackle. Whereas work performed with detachment does not affect the doer. Actually the person is  in solitude when not bothered about the outcome.

It's wise to drop the sense of responsibility and freewill by regarding ourselves as the ordained instruments of the all-wise and all-powerful, to do and suffer as he pleases. He carries all burdens and gives us pleasure.

What else can be attributed to the pathetic conditions like Malnutrition, Poverty, etc.

Staying together at all times adds strentgh.
Otherwise, everybody is the loser.

There are many cases to amplify the above point.

One good example I am giving here.

Two brothers could not sell their ancestral property for more than 30 years as there was no understanding and unity between them.

But their children came closer after sorting out the differences which made them to earn a windfall profit through sale of the property.

Criminal Waste

It's disheartening to note that the world is wasting a lot of fossil fuel(gasoline) everyday.

It's a irony that on one hand, people and leaders talk of Conservation of fossil fuel and on the other hand, for the unmindful spending the scarce fuel .

Why so many private vehicles on the road for going to office .That too with only one person travelling in each of these vehicles. This creates a lot of problems in many ways.

Money wasted while the fuel reserves get depleted faster.

Pollution and the resultant ecological and health problems are the next.

Why not the governments think of passing laws to make 
1) Private vehicles can be used if the same carries the full load, either as passengers or as cargo
2) Otherwise, only mass and public transport of Govt or Private owenership be used .

The above shall be enforced for the peak hours travel only.

Freedom is welcome but not at the cost of our own future.
