FHP

FHP is the acronym for Forward Head Posture.

Putting your head forward repeatedly during your actions in the daily life is called as FHP.
Some of the examples of such actions are: watching TV,looking into the computer, riding a bike , brushing your teeth, eating habit, sleeping posture.

These strain in sticking your neck out could lead to  this condition of FHP.

FHP starts with neck or shoulder pain with impact to the pain of muscles closer to them.

Head ache, Neck pain , Tooth ache and Disc prolapse are problems arising out of FHP.

How to prevent this FHP?

- Have correct sitting posture
- Have Eye level position of your computer monitor or TV but at least 2 feet away from you.
- Have back support when riding or sitting if you feel strain in your neck or back
- Have regular physical exercise like walking, jogging, etc..preferably in the morning or evening.
