Dream Cash Run

What will be the reaction of the People: when they hear that more cash could be made with an ATM.

A leading and large network bank in India was in shock when one of its ATMs started dispensing  extra cash, almost double the amount keyed in by the ATM users.

As word spread like wildfire, crowds thronged the kiosk to collect their booty or loot. The machine was giving away INR 10000 against INR5000 requested by the card holder.

The free-for-all  began in the morning and lasted till 10 pm in the night when the bank officials, sensing the depletion of their money, sought the service of police to shut down the ATM.

The cops swiftly cleared the mob, though INR 450000 was withdrawn by that time.

With the help of the camera recordings, the bank is now tracing out and recovering the excess money from those who took the money.

The technical fault " Loading INR1000 in the tray for INR500" is reported to be the cause of the above bizzarae incident.

Benefits of Listening

Whether you didn't know to ask, were too busy to ask, or didn't think it was important enough to ask, You know there's a huge benefit to listening in to the responses of other people's questions.

It's one of the reasons talk shows have been such a huge hit.

We can learn from the experiences of others and gain expert advice to apply to our own lives.

Symmetry in A Cemetery

All graves are identical and have the details like Name of Soldier,Regiment number and emblem, the emblem of the religion and a personal epitaph.

Madras War (Second World War) Cemetery

This is the uniformity and order being followed by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC  in United Kingdom)  which  commemorates  the 1,700,000 men and women of the Commonwealth forces who died in the two world wars. These cemeteries may have different entrance arches, layouts and pergolas but two things stay the same across the world- the Cross of Sacrifice and Stone Remembrance, both made of Portland cement stone.

Red light area

This phrase was first recorded in the US around 1890.

It is derived from the practice of sex workers placing a red light at the window to indicate to their customers.

The term is also traced to the time when  railroad workers took red lanterns with them when they visited the brothels so their crew could find them in case of emergency.

Japanese police drew a redline on maps to indicate the boundaries of red light areas.

Act of Goodwill

One doctor waived the fees for the cesarian delivery of a girl child by a local lady. Moreover the doctor gave away the medications free of cost.

The husband of the lady is a poor peon in a local dairy. The expenses were a huge sum for him.

As the child born is girl, the doctor made it free and intended to help the poor parents save the money which in turn could be used for educating the girl.

The parents since deposited the money thus saved in the name of that girl.

This happened in Gujarat state,India where the sex ratio is skewed at 886 girls per 1000 boys.

Sensing the social implications of this phenomenon,  this doctor has been contributing in the manner described herein above.

Well done Dr Prajapati .

Police Job is a Wedding Gift

Wonder,how it could happen.

No fairy tale. Real incident that happened in India.

A scandal in the recruitment of police constables was exposed when a police constable was arrested.
The guy got the job as a marriage gift from the father-in-law who made a deal with the concerned agent to select him. A proxy candidate wrote the written exam for which half a million appeared for 4025 posts.

The sum paid to the agent was about $10000.

World is getting worser day by day: corruption grows geometrically.

Love is Better: Before or After Marriage ?

Love is the loveliest of all human emotions. Because it produces more solace and happiness to all the parties involved. Imagine our world without "LOVE". No purpose in life itself is found .Everything will be in "Chaos".

Love need not be between persons. It can be for anything like Work, Books, Nature, Animals,Solitude,etc..

Love is the common expression and takes different forms depending upon the relationships and status of individuals.
-  Relationships exist as Parents-Children, Sister-Brother, Husband-Wife, Friends, Colleagues, Teacher-Pupil,etc...
-  Status refers to the stage in which an individual is placed as Childhood, Adolescence, Adult.

However, Love in the modern age is used to represent the affairs that develop before a person's marriage.

In that context, let us examine which is better?     Love, Before or After Marriage

Generally People tend to show much enthusiasm before marriage : reasons can be any. The intensity of such love fades away after the marriage. That is why many people falling under this category end up in divorce or other decisions.

People loving their partner after wedlock  maintains it generally. With some relationships growing sour over time due to Loss of Trust and misunderstanding that emerge due to internal or exterior reasons. People of this category have respect for the family institution.

My view is " Keep Loving Your Partner Always. Give and Take must be the key "

Avoid Procrastination

Procrastination is like a disease that spoils a person’s life .

We all suffer from it at varying degrees throughout our lives and hence, I consider it a disease for the impact it has on lives.

Lost opportunities, regrets, depression to name a few.

There’s always the feeling that what is due now can be done later and feels better doing later. Kill that thought immediately , prioritize your tasks and get them done without much fuss and rush.

Our habits and thoughts have to be trained  like a bodybuilder or athlete to cultivate the habit of doing continuous work on time.

When an amazing idea or a cool new thought popped in your mind, don’t put it off, get it done now.
Here also when more than one occurs, jot down them in a piece of paper or smartphone or tablet.

As you go through the motion of putting your plan in action, all sorts of doubts about the idea and your abilities will flow through your mind, ignore them and push on. Ignore the fear of failure as there is no such thing as failure if you keep moving.

Respect All

Now understand....each person is intelligent in their own way...Let's respect everybody..whether small or big...poor or rich, young or old.

This guy is clever to use the helmet for avoiding tears due to the onion  that he cuts.

Each individual or creature in nature has its own mechanism to survive safely in this world.

Funeral Wish..

We know about the history of  Egyptian mummies......so much of life essentials, luxuries,etc...were buried along with the mummies.....inside the great pyramids. Might be to take care of the life after death.

Recently, I read in the daily about two extraordinary funerals.

The body of Bill Stanley, a motorcycle lover, was secured to his 1967 Harley Davidson bike and kept inside a transparent box during funeral procession . This was done to fulfill his wish .

The case of boxer is different. At his funeral, he looked ready to fight , leaning against the corner of a look alike boxing ring.

Weird ...people ..even after being dead.

Facebook

Facebook is into 10th year.

The membership of this social networking site has grown to the extent of the size of a country.
And still growing.....
The chief factors that contributed to this enormous growth are
- easy interface
- quick means of spreading any news, information , pics, etc...
- widest reach

Owing to the above factors, even corporates and businesses have set up their own pages so that their marketing and growth would pick up.

But the main drawback of this medium is that the posts made in the site are derogatory and sensitive in nature. There is no control over this attitude which has led to the situation of some persons committing suicide .

Let us use FB for constructive and informative use only.

Environment & Cancer

World Cancer Day is celebrated on 4th February of every year.

Besides  Heredity and Habits , Environment also plays a crucial role in the spread of cancer.

Use of pesticides and constant inhalation of harmful materials is found to cause the cancer.

Cancer is a condition where our body cells proliferate abnormally. Such condition is induced when we get exposed repeatedly to the chemicals in the fruits and vegetables grown on plants and trees sprayed with pesticides.

Likewise, the regular exposure  in a place covered with asbestos , saw dust, coal dust, etc...will also trigger the lung and nasopharangeal cancer. The classic example of  Bhopal (India) gas tragedy due to the leak of poisonous gas leak from Union Carbide factory led to the development of cancer in various forms.

Technology and Development comes at a heavy price: because they add wealth and also trigger new methods of death also.

Just for Airport Meals

A Chinese man bought a first-class fully refundable plane ticket and re-booked it 300 times for the sake of having free meals at the VIP lounge of an airport in China.

Every time the man flashed his ticket to the lounge staff, ate a meal just like any traveller and instead of boarding the flight , he would  change his trip to another day. That day he would show up with his new ticket , enjoy the meals and again change his day of travel.

He repeated this over and gain for 300 times .ALL FOR EATING THE MEAL PROVIDED AT THE VIP LOUNGE.

The airline authorities only recently figured out the scheme of this man but they could not avoid making the refund of ticket as there was no rider to this effect.

Really Funny and Freak are many persons in this world. Each one invents his own method to make gains .

Which is Right or Wrong

This happened in a CBSE school.

In a class room, a student accidentally hit the classmate who was drinking water from his waterbottle. As a result, the water spilled over on to the notebook kept by another student.

But the owner of the notebook got annoyed and beat the student whose drinking water spilled. In retaliation, the latter also beat the first student having the notebook.

This incident was brought to the attention of the Principal of the school.

All the three students were asked to stay away from attending the school  for the next 4 days.  This punishment was given despite the students expressing the mistakes and their parents request not to punish like this.

It was informed by the students of that class that generally the Princy is having dislike for them and hace a biased approach

The behaviour and judgement of the Principal was not correct according to me.It amounted to a punsihment given in a NCC or Military camp.

Either the Principal should have made all these students to shake hands and take a pledge " They will remain good friends and conduct themselves properly hereafter".

I would appreciate if  the readers give their valuableopinion about this incident.

Bizarre Woman

A 63 year German lady won a huge lottery £330,000 but she tore the entire cash into pieces and flushed it down the toilet after getting drunk.

She did this out of dejection .

After sensing the windfall profit she made, the Care home where her husband died, promptly sent a bill t!onwards his medical expenses. The woman read the letter after consuming five bottles of champagne a few days after getting the windfall. She got angry with the bill and resorted to the bizarre act of throwing the torn booty into the toilet.

Might be the bill amount was more than the lottery prize she got.

Any Nuts here

No .  You are wrong.

This is not the picture of walnuts .

Actually the photo shows the Sikh soldiers marching during the rehearsal for the Republic Day (26thJanuary)parade in NewDelhi, India.

What a discipline indeed!  All soldiers making a uniformity in whatever they do.

SALUTE THE LARGEST DEMOCRACY IN THE WORLD.

Success rarely comes before Failure

Even in the dictionary, "Success" comes after "Failure" only,  unlike "Work"which occurs after Success  in dictionary.

So, understand that though you work hard , you are bound to confront failure.
That failure might occur once or many times.
But never give up and keep on working with your aim at Success only.

Definitely you would get success ultimately.
That success will taste sweeter than any thing else. Like seeing a fruit in a tree grown with care.

Never Give up your efforts until you reach your goal.

Best Practices of Commenting

Everyday we are reading so many  articles or blogs offline or online.  We tend to feel or think over the ideas or information that we read. Some of us do use them for our guidance while some make us reflect  by way of  writing comments or  feedback. However, such reactions need to be genuine and polite.  The following are the 7 best ways of making your comments or feedback.

1. Use your real name (i.e., not a keyword, a website name, company name, or generic alias). A real name strengthens your brand as an authority in your area as well as increases transparency and trust.

3. You naturally promote yourself by providing unique insight – let this exude your confidence in your expertise, rather than blatantly promoting yourself in another blogger’s comments section.

3. Be relevant to the the blogger’s topic as well as their reader’s interests and  needs.

4. Provide thoughtful commentary that shows you read the post, understood it, and have your own unique insights to bring to the table.

5. Make careful and calculated assertions without provoking arguments or will jump to conclusions before taking in the full context. This can backfire  Read, ask for clarification if you need it, and then provide your insights.

6. Prior to submitting your comment, proofread for any wayward grammar as well as destructive commentary that was written out of anger (it will only hurt your credibility and embarrass the blogger).

7. Most blogs will prompt contact information prior to commenting (e.g., website address). Use this as an opportunity to allow other people to connect with you, but don’t push it. If there isn’t a proper place for the link (i.e., a field provided), link at the end of your comment with a contextual lead-in. And like your articles, ensure your link leads to relevant content.

Hope the above is useful for a healthy and meaningful  commenting on another blog or article.

Marriages made in....

The opinion differs from person to person depending the experiences they had or have.

Some people say" Marriages are made in Heaven"
Some others deny this strongly as" No. They are made in Hell"
Still some others say " Marriages are made in Heaven but life is made boring on earth.

Bachelors are a happy lot as no such problem  is confronted by them. Because, they are ignorant of or averse to the marriage itself.

Whatever said, they are the expressions borne out from the perceptions of actual life.
But for a person with a balanced and practical mind will never make such declaration as "Marriages are made in Hell" .

How you treat the various situations in our life , whether with understanding or without self confidence , is all that matters.  Only when we know the reality of life process, which is common to all living things on this earth, we learn to appreciate the plus and minus of life.

Then only a person will have a wholesome and meaningful life.

How to Meditate ?

Meditation has been cited again and again as an incredible benefit that regulates emotion (including stress) as well as improves verbal reasoning, attention span.About 30 minutes of meditation daily could help improve symptoms of anxiety and depression ,according to a research study.

Meditation isn't easy - at first. Don't feel bad if you can't sit still for more than 3 minutes when you initially begin. It takes practice. Allow meditation to become a part of your routine and you will build momentum. Hinduism is the source of this valuable tool for enhancing and leading a peaceful and productive life.

How to do meditation?
  1. Find a comfortable and quiet space.
  2. With your eyes closed, sit on the floor (or on a cushion on the floor) in a cross legged position. Rest your hands in your lap or you can choose to rest your hands palms up on your knees or thighs. Alternately, you can lay on your back on the floor with your palms facing up and feet shoulder-distance apart. This is what yogis call Savasana or "corpse pose."
  3. Check for any tension you may be holding. Gently shake your head up and down, left to right to release neck tension. If you're seated, allow your head to rotate forward slightly so the crown of your head is up.
  4. Breathe evenly to relax. Imagine your breath is a calm ocean wave coming into shore and receding back from the shore.
  5. In your mind, repeat a mantra. This can be a phrase, a question, a problem, or any obstacle you are trying to find a solution to overcome. "OM" or "AUM" is the beneficial mantra used by Hindus to practise meditation.
  6. Be patient and unembarrassed. Allow yourself to be in this meditative state: let go of distractions. Your solutions, answers, and ideas will come to you.
You can meditate anywhere from 10, 30, or 60 minutes.

When you come out of your meditative state, don't immediately get up or you may risk a dizzy spell. Simply open your eyes and allow your breathing to return to its normal state for a minute and then get up. If you have meditated while laying on your back, roll onto your side for a minute and then come to a seated position. Once your breathing has returned to normal, feel free to get up.

Tonic

Anything that Motivates the fatigued or sick body or mind can be termed as Tonic.

When you feel often tired or exhausted, you feel like eating or doing something that induces or stimulates your system to become active and energetic .

For example, by seeing a fresh flower or by reading a good book or by listening to soothing music or pep talk of experts, We tend to feel recharged in our mind.

However, to make your body free from the fatigue or the after effects of a disease cured already, we consume special preparations of medications called "Tonic" .

Even the comforts of consolations from others are in the nature of Tonic only.

The encouragement and cheers given to a person for competing in anything is also a tonic .

But consumption of anything that temporarily induces a person to perform better cannot be termed as Tonic. Liquor, Tranqullizer and Steroid are some examples for this nature.

Mangrove Forest

The foto taken during my visit to the Mangrove forests located in Pichavaram lake, about 18 KMs from the famous temple city of Chidambaram, Tamilnadu.

These are the rarest marsh land situated near the seashore of Bay of Bengal.

What appear to be the trunks of trees, are actually the roots of the water dependant mangrove forest trees.

This place , Pichavaram, is preserved as a Eco centre and declared as a Eco tourism spot.

Earlier, many movies were made here with boat chasing scenes as the climax of the story.

Why the film makers deserted this beautiful scenic place, is a question mark.

True love does not differentiate but helps others without seeing the species , color or size.

True love brings out the divinity in you.

This is what Jesus practised when he lived on this planet.

Dead man comes alive

What will be the situation and the consequences if a person said to be dead has come alive.

During the public elections, many dead people will become live to cast their votes in favour of the party that desires to win at any cost. Because the adminstrative machinery or the concerned family of expired person failed to get that name deleted from the voters list.

In another case, dead man came alive to the office that had long back treated him as expired. Now the  said person has to produce a document certifying that he is very much alive.

Strange is the world.

A person was given to all the rites of the last journey and cremated also. Later after a few months, the said dead man appeared in front of his family members and claimed that he lost his memory and strayed into another town, and now regained his self. The family and relatives were shell shocked and happy as well.

Clamour for more

Contentment with what is available now makes you live peacefully.

Yearning to get more within short time definitely lands you in trouble in innumerable ways.
First you need to take strain both physically and mentally.
Second, at the same time, you have  to ensure what you have is maintained and not lost.
Third, you have to fight against the obstacles including time factor, that will appear in a variety.

On the other hand, when you lead a self contented life, more time , options and efforts are available at your disposal. That means, you lead the happy life at it's normal pace without exertion or loss of emotions.

Clamour to make more money, rewards, fame or power than what you are entitled as measured by the amount of efforts and qualification, is like a person weighing 65 Kgs trying to lift a load of 200 Kgs.

Always assess your eligibility before you strive for anything.
Also you can raise your standards by adding new skills and knowledge before aiming for new heights of life.

Snoring issue

Recently I was travelling in a bus . My neighbour was reading a book on spiritualism.
The whole environ inside and outside the bus was quite excepting the hissing engine of Benz bus. Suddenly, I felt the familiar but disturbing sound inside the bus.

Yes, it was the whistling sound from my neighbour. Snoring.

Usually the snoring person will not be aware of his problem.Unless somebody exposes it to him.

A person complained to his fellow as " Why are you making such  disturbance". The friend innocently replied" How can I control that as it comes out when I am asleep".

Snoring is one another sleep related problem like Sleep-Talking and Sleep-Walking.
A wife asked her family doctor to do something to control her husband's sleep-talking. The doctor said " There is no cure available for it as it's natural process." But the lady replied" In that case, at least treat him to talk louder . Because, I couldn't hear when he talks during that time".

When a woman requested her family doctor to stop her husband's talking during sleep,
the phsician casually remarked " Why don't you allow him speak at least in sleep".

Snoring with very high but with alternating pitch needs medical care.

Sleep apnea is the disorder to be treated without delay. Because, a person with this problem literally stops breathing. It's common among obese and middled aged people.
It can be controlled by wearing a device that forces air under pressure into the nose.In severe cases of breathing problem, surgery may be required.

Some of the prevention methods to control this problem are:
1) Stop smoking
2) Sleep on the side.Avoid lying on the back
3)  Raise the level of pillow so that head rests above the body level.

Chase Your Dreams

"Chase your dreams, but do not take short cuts. The path might be tough but don't give up".

This is the gold advice given to Sachin Tendulkar, World's Top Cricketer having the world record of 100 centuries scored over a span of 24 years since 1990.

Really a Super dad was that father.

So have dreams and achieve them through legitimate means and methods.

Such achievements will be in the memories of everybody.

Rules Are for Our Wellfare only

The rules of any institution or Law or Society are meant for the safety and welfare of the people.

These rules are applicable to all the people uniformly without any discrimination or favor.

To understand clearly, a few examples are listed below.
1) Road rules not only make your drive safely and also protect the lives of those moving on the road, pedestrians or other vehicles.
2) Office rules provide for the discipline and conduct of the work in a congenial and systematic manner.
3) Rules of a Coop society enable its members to make transactions in a transparent and uniform method.
4)  Rules of Regulating Body prevent the unfair and unhealthy practices of marketing and competition among the countries, business firms, people.
5) Rules of a Public Transport company prevent unauthorized entry and carriage.

But the Rules should be changed in tune with the needs of the time also.

Never try to bend the rules to suit your convenience or to favor somebody.

Always respect the Rules of the land wherever you are.

Balanced approach

Good and Bad are common in our life. One remaining unaffected by them is said to be a great person.

Even when anything unjust or bad means good to others, refraining from that is considered to be the attribute of an ideal person.

When the mind leads to doing a wrong, a person should get alert to keep away from it. Crooked mind always leads to wrong words and deeds.

Even when the worst situation of poverty to a person, his unbiased approach will be applauded by all. The story of King Harichandra confirms this.

Fame and Blame that remain after a person's life speak volumes  about the character of the person.

World praises, remembers and follows only the good things.
Because that is the ideal way to lead life .

Speak pleasantly

What you speak does matter to others.
So have a pleasant way of saying anything , instead of using harsh and rude tone.
It's something like a ripe fruit tasting sweeter than the unripe one.

When we speak in a pleasing manner, it adds value to both the speaker and the listener.

Your speech should make the  audience feel wanting more from you.

There are people that keep on talking without minding whether the other side is interested in their lecture.

So keep your talk short and sweet to appeal to others.

Pleasant speech will earn friends. Even from enemies.

Why should prefer a unripe fruit to a Fully formed fruit.

Hospitality

Wealth earned in our life is to treat and help  the guests that come to you.

When guest waits in your house, you should not eat secretly : even if it is the life saving ambrosia.

One who treats the guest with true love will never fail in his life.

On the contrary, improper and insincere hospitality is bound to instil hatred and detachment between the host and the guest.

What you sow is what you reap.
If you treat your guests with love and affection , the same will be paid back to you .

Pure love

Life without love has no charm. It is like a lonely tree in a desert.
Similarly, a person without love is a skin-clad bone cage only.

Love consists two types as Specific and Pure.

Specific type refers to the normal love and affection among human beings. This is generally restricted to the members within a group. Example is Family.

Pure love looks beyond and extends to other life forms like Animals, Insects, Birds,etc...

Pure love has no limitations like selfishness, region, creed or caste.
It has no boundaries and in fact integrates with Nature .

Pure love shares with others.
Pure love helps others in times of grief and sorrows.
Pure love breeds enduring peace and happiness .

Discipline is Strength

Discipline is always misunderstood as "strictness" or " rules".
Actually it refers to a system or set of basic principles for our life.

Self discipline makes you a saint.

Adherence to self discipline at all times is the difficult aspect of our life.
Making others follow such  discipline becomes the most difficult .

A person with such discipline is considered to be the noblest of all.

Here the discipline mainly comprises of the following aspects.
- practice of honesty
- possession of patience and tolerance
- readiness to sacrifice
- compassion for others
- unbiased  approach
- humbleness
- simplicity

Persons with these great qualities lived among us. They are few and far between. And they are praised as the saviours of humankind. In fact, they become Gods.

Without having a pet like Lovebird, Parrot, Cat, Dog,Fish,etc..., in your house, there is no charm in life. Because, they form a source of refreshment to out sagging minds and also they prove a life of integration with Mother Nature, though in a small way.

Don't Believe Your Eyes

Don't Believe Your Eyes

Generally we judge a person or thing based on what we hear or see.
That's the incorrect way of making judgement. One swallow definitely doesn't make a summer.

'A person coming out of the police station' does not mean the involvement in a crime.

'Driving a luxury car' doesn't make a person rich.

'Wearing simple clothes' should not be mistaken as a poor person.

'Speaking in another language ' doesn't make a person native of that place or region.

'Misbehaviour on one occasion' cannot brand a person as bad in nature.

Many of the crimes are borne out of circumstances. But the wrong conviction goes to make a person to repeat the crimes. If opportunities are given, many such convicts prove their worth. This can be seen from their conduct during their stay in a prison.

That's why in a Court of law, sufficient time is given to the accused to present the truth and circumstances of the crime. Only after getting both the views and evidences on the crime, judgement is made. But not based on the circumstances alone .

So next time, do not decide about a person or event based on what you hear or see only.

Look into the circumstances and evidences and also through close monitoring , you can arrive at a fair conclusion.

Don't be carried away by Apperance

Generally we judge anything by its appearance rather than by knowing its nature or by understanding through interactions.

That is to say " Impression by Appearance  is felt more than expression".

But this method quite often gives us a wrong opinion about a thing or person.

Rose flower looks gorgeous but the sharp thorn underneath.
Spiny Jack fruit is hard and tough in the exterior but sweet and nutritious  food inside.
Colorful and Vase-like flowers are  attractive but swallow the visitor.
Earthworms are tiny and slimy but make the soil fit for cultivation.
Sun looks torrid and blinding but serves as the source of energy .
Hedges are prickly and dense but they form the fence.

Like wise, there are good qualities in each and every person.

Let us try to understand that and appreciate it.

This mindset of positivism is bound to be more useful to transform even a bad character  into a great person.

You need a Qualification to criticise others

Self-criticism and pulling down others in order to feel good your self is a sign of low self-esteem.

Everyone wants a success story.
- Some get theirs by working hard
-Some by pulling down and so seeming taller.

People who are perfect would never criticise when others make mistakes. Instead, they encourage them to be more careful and avoid recurrence of such mistakes.   For instance, when the driver of your car fails to stop  before the red signal,  a Good mannered person will  say" I know you are a good driver except when you get near to the signal".

However, most of us tend to be harsh and rude when confronted with such occasions. But think a while.. If the other person (being so criticised) also becomes reactive,  no way out. Both will be  landing in a duel and end in bitter emotions and expressions. Ultimately spoiling the otherwise cordial relationship.

Especially, when the criticism emerges from a person that is inexperienced and having no basic character of himself, it's bound to create havoc on the person-in-crticism who is well experienced and more disciplined .

I have a friend giving lengthy lectures about the office discipline but failing in his own work.

So Think twice before you scold others.

Retirement

Many people think retirement is sitting at home after quitting one's job or vocation.

Actually, life starts again after the so-called retirement.
Because it is the time when you need to reestablish  your links with the old and forgotten relationships of friendship and kinship.

In fact, it is after the retirement, a person has to take care of both self and spouse. Because
Your children  grow and like to be independent. That feeling becomes stronger after their marriage.

Life after the retirement needs more courage and tolerance to face the moments, sensitive and ever changing.

So one needs to be active post-retirement to stay in the life race.

Without Problems , There is No Life

Feeling quite helpless. CTS checks debited to us, but actually returned. Pension less credited in many accounts. Problems over which branch has no control. Plus victim of fraud. Complaints and only complaints. Is there light at the end of the tunnel.

This is the post of a Bank employee that I recently read on Facebook.

I replied as.

The only solution is.....analyse your problems with a positive mind that you can overcome those problems.....Don't see the tunnel of darkness...try to come out of or break the tunnel itself to see the light. Because nobody has an idea of your being trapped inside the tunnel. Will power is mightier than the problem you face.

Festivals bring Peace and Prosperity

Festivals always bring pomp and cheers to all people.

Life without festival is unthinkable and boring also.

Because a festival makes people mingle and exchange ideas and experiences. In that process, the stains of strained relationships and mistrust are removed whilst the seeds of mutualism and coexistence are sown.

Diwali is the only festival of India  when everybody, irrespective of the religion or nationality or culture, feels and enjoys the most of happiness. It's the occasion for building and strengthening the  bonds of love and friendship among the varied societies  and cultures of the country.

Generally Diwali is described to be the celebration of  victory of Good over Bad and Lights over Darkness.

The Puranas say  Lord Rama  won a glorious victory over the demon king Ravana of Lanka. After the victory, He came to Ayodhya with his dear brother Laxman and wife Sita. The people of Ayodhya celebrated the victory by lighting candles and lamps. Thus, Lord Ramachandra was congratulated.
As Diwali is considered the most auspicious day of the year, New business is started and old business is renewed from this day. People wear new clothes, distribute sweets and pleasantries to all while colorful crackers are fired to make the entire sky witness and reflect the gaiety and  splendour of the festivity.
People make every Diwali a memorable day of their life by bringing in new books, gadgets, apparels, gifts, etc.. and also by gifting the clothes, cash and other items to the less fortunate and poor people.
So Diwali is  a Festival of Give and Take of Happiness among ourselves.  Aiming for Peace and Prosperity to stay.

Remember the Help done by others

Gratitude is the apt word to convey the title of this post.

Remembering the help from others  and returning it promptly is termed as gratitude.
Sadly this characteristic is rare to see nowadays among many of us.

Who bothers to feel for even  the help rendered by others and say a humble  phrase" Thank you".

One who appreciates even the smallest help of others and repays without any expectations is a real human.

Superior is the person who instantly forgives the mistakes of others but remembers only the good deeds . Such person will win the hearts of all.

All wrong actions will be pardoned but forgetting the help from others.

Be grateful to those who help you.

Feel happiness in helping others

Wherever, whatever and whenever you are, keep helping others.
Never postpone it.
Do it always.

No such thing that you can help only when you are rich  or when you are  old.

Many people  think  that opportunity should present itself for helping others.

Few examples to understand the methods to help others.
- when you travel in a bus or train, stand up and allow the old and unhealthy persons to sit in your seats.
- donate to the needy and orphaned people when you celebrate your special days of life.
- contribute to the emergency funds in times of natural calamities.

Pleasure from helping others is satisfying and long lasting.
It induces to do more such acts.
It always feels great and better when you help others voluntarily.
